 Rüdiger Buß
Rüdiger Buß was born in Duisburg,
Germany, on August 11th, 1965. He received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering both from Gerhard-Mercator-University
Duisburg, Germany, in 1991 and 2002, respectively. In 1991 he joined
the Department of Optoelectronics which is part of the Center
for Solid-State Technology and Optoelectronics since 1998. His main
research interests are in the fields of neurotechnology, optoelectronic devices and systems for medical
applications, artificial neural networks, and fiber-wireless multimedia communication systems. Dr. Buß is a member of the German Association
of Electrical Engineers (VDE),
the IEEE Lasers &
Electro-Optics Society (LEOS),
and the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).
